The Bob Allison Ataxia Research Center (BAARC), in partnership with the Friedreich's Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA) will be hosting a screening of the documentary The Ataxian.  

Synopsis: The Ataxian tells the story of Kyle Bryant. Unable to walk due to the neuromuscular disorder Friedreich's ataxia, Kyle and a team of friends attempt the most grueling bicycle race in the world, the Race Across America, which covers over 3,000 miles in just nine days.  Watch the film trailer here.

After the screening, BAARC will host a panel discussion with audience Q&A, including Kyle Bryant and Dr. Christophe Lenglet, a University of Minnesota neuroscientist studying Friedreich's ataxia.
