Evan is a wonderful 8 year old whose smile can light up the room. He was diagnosed with Friedreich's Ataxia on October 7, 2004 from a heart murmur heard at his 8 year checkup. His passion is NBA basketball. Give him a player's name and he can tell you what team he plays for and what position. His dream is to play in the NBA someday. Evan loves to hang out with his little brother Graham (5), play Gamecube, read, go to the park and shoot baskets. His two cats, Simon and Eli, love him to pieces! Evan is in second grade and is an excellent student.

Evan's favorite foods are his mom's chocolate chip cookies, steak, meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Our fundraising journey to find a cure has begun and we won't stop until the doctors cure FA!
