Hello, my name is Sam. Laughing at life from an early age got me through the early days of my Friedreich's Ataxia diagnosis so much that I wanted to be a comedian when I grew up........BUT, my mom made me go to college. So…I attended Southern Connecticut State University and graduated in May 2010 with a degree in Communications and a specialization in video production. My dream job is to work at ESPN. I have always been a huge sports fan and would love to be a post production editor. Three years later and 15 interviews I refuse to give up! I'm starting to think maybe the mailroom just to get my foot in the door at ESPN!

My favorite sport is football. I am a Denver Broncos fan and a New York Giants fan (mainly because of the Manning brothers). Because I went to school for video production, I love all types of television and movies, although my favorite movie of all time is Goodfellas.

The real love of my life is working out. I like to do all kinds of exercise at the gym and at my home gym working out with my trainer Bob. In my home home gym I like to lift weights, stand in my standing frame, use my stationery bike or just throw a football. More than anything, during the warm seasons, I love to ride my hand trike especially on scenic bike trails. It gives me such a feeling of freedom.

I now have 9 tattoos and hope to add to that soon. I appreciate my life and have learned to work past any obstacles to get what I need in life, true happiness.
