My family and I hosted our annual fundraiser on September 7. This year the fundraiser was called "Friedreich's for Nobode" and was held at the Owenego Beach and Tennis Club in Branford, CT. We were joined by over 200 friends, family, and community members.
We worked really hard to get donations from local establishments to form a fun, exciting, and successful raffle with over 80 prizes. Some of these prizes included tickets to Maroon 5, Justin Timberlake, and Thomas Rhett concerts, multiple weekend getaways, and gift cards to local restaurants and breweries. Guests were able to participate in the raffle, enjoy dinner provided by Emily's Catering Group, and chat with the psychics that we had come to the event to do readings. All ticket sales, raffle sales, and donations were directly donated to FARA. We raised well over what we had raised in previous years and look forward to planning for next year.
