The Highest Road Film

The Highest Road features Kyle Bryant and Sean Baumstark, two men disabled by Friedreich’s ataxia. The films follow them as they embark on a grueling 200-mile ride up Umling La, the world’s highest road. Supported by a dedicated team, their epic ride mirrors their community’s 30-year battle for a breakthrough drug approval. As the team pedals, they carry the hope of thousands fighting for time, treatment, and a future.

Host a Screening

You have the opportunity to share Kyle and Sean’s story with your community to contribute to the goal of raising $500,000 for FARA by hosting a viewing party or a theater screening.

A viewing party is an informal way to share the film with friends either in your home, church or school. This option requires less planning and set-up but allows you to use the film as platform to talk about FA and raise funds to support research.

A theater screening is a structured event that requires more planning but may allow you to invite a larger audience.
