Beginning at Fountain Square in downtown Cincinnati, runners of the Cincinnati Heart Mini Half Marathon & Walk made their way along the Columbia Parkway, up and down hills, before heading back to the starting point after getting a glimpse of the Ohio and Kentucky border.
This is how Tammy Rasey and her co-worker spent their Sunday, on March 12, 2017, running the events 15k.This marathon is Greater Cincinnati's largest fundraising event and marked the 40th year of honoring stroke and heart-related survivors.
Tammy and her co-worker ran in honor of her son, Evan, who was diagnosed with FA at 8 years-old. Tammy raised $1,500 for FARA FARA. The 2017 Cincinnati Heart Mini Marathon has raised over $2.7 million for the American Heart Association.
