This is a commentary on the paper “Body Mass Index and Height in the Friedreich Ataxia Clinical Outcome Measures Study” published in Neurology Genetics, where members of the Friedreich Ataxia Clinical Outcome Measure Study (FACOMS) present a first large study that aimed to investigate cross-sectional and longitudinal associations between demographic, genetic, and clinical factors and anthropometric outcomes such as height and body mass index (BMI) in FRDA.
