Dragana Obadić
Dragana has served as a FARA ambassador since 2023 and dedicates her time staying positive and supportive to FA community peer representatives and also to raising Friedreich’s ataxia awareness. She has a master’s degree in economics. Dragana likes to keep herself socially active, always think positively, and avoids stressful social situations. She also enjoys reading a good book and keeping her mind occupied by solving crosswords. Her favorite FARA event is the FARA & CHOP FA Symposium 2023 because it was the first one she attended. Dragana would tell someone newly diagnosed, “You can’t wait until life isn’t hard anymore before you decide to be happy. Also, never trust your fears, they don’t know your strength.”
