Tomáš Pik
Tomáš has served as a FARA Ambassador since 2023 and has dedicated his time to becoming an information bridge between FARA and FRIEDA (the patient organization in the Czech Republic), being part of the international community, sharing with other patients, and helping each other. He is a major figure in the field of promoting sexuality for people with disabilities in the Czech Republic and helped to establish a sexual assistance service there. He is involved in the field of fine arts and founded the “Zátiší” Gallery in Prague, where he works as a curator.
Besides art and travel, his great hobby is politics and philosophy. He lives alone in a barrier-free apartment because it is very important for him to remain independent and active as long as possible. Tomáš would tell someone newly diagnosed “You’re not alone”.
