Who do you live with? I live with my husband.

What are your hobbies? I work on cars and watch Disney+ and Netflix.

What is your education level? I have finished a few years of college.

When were you diagnosed? I was 22 when I was diagnosed with FA.

What are some life hacks that you use daily to make life easier living with FA? I use a spatula and tongs to reach things up high.

What has living with FA taught you? Never give up on yourself.

When FA gets you down, what makes you feel better? Staying positive, even if it’s hard and I get frustrated.

What advice would you give someone newly diagnosed? Never stop believing in yourself and that you will accomplish your goals.

What is something that you’re struggling with now that you haven’t in the past? Getting in and out of the car safely by myself.

What is one way living with FA has positively changed your life? It has made me more compassionate toward my husband and understanding what’s going to happen to me later.

What does “I have FA but FA doesn’t have me” mean to you? It means I am my own person, not just someone with FA in a wheelchair.

What is your favorite inspirational quote? Always be positive about everything.
