Presentation: Tips for Effective Speech and Communication

Speech pathologist, Prof Anja Lowit, dives into topics critical to speaking, including steps for effective communication, the different ways that FA affects speech, and some exercises and tips to improve your speech and feel more confident. You can watch this presentation two ways:

1) A slide show that is voiced over. You will need to download the slides to view. In doing that, you will get a warning from Google that it has not been scanned for viruses because of its size. It is ok to click download. Next, click “slide show,” then “from the beginning.” When the presentation mode begins, the sound will start. You can directly click on the link to resources with this option.

2) A video of the same presentation. You will not be able to click on the link to resources with this option, but they are also available on this page.
