The FA Teen Hangouts are hour-long video calls on Zoom that are exclusively meant for teens with FA. At least 2 FARA Ambassadors will be at each hangout to help keep the conversation safe and moving in the right direction. The FA Teen Hangouts are open to teens ages 13 to 19 with FA. Teens of all ages will be together and participants under 18 require parental consent in order to participate.
Being involved in the FA Teen Hangouts is a great way for teens to become part of the FA community and to make lifelong friends with people their age who know what they are going through.
Guidelines:

- No bullying
- Honor confidentiality
- Be kind and respectful
- No talk about illegal activities
- No negative talk toward another participant
- Moderators do not represent FARA’s position
- Moderators are not medical professionals and will not give medical advice
How to join?
If you are under 18 – The parent or guardian of the participant needs to sign a consent form. Please use the button below to have your parent/guardian fill out the Teen Hangouts Consent Form.
If you are 18 or 19 years old – Click the button below to email us to let us know your age and that you are interested in attending the Teen Hangouts.
Returning to the Teen Hangouts – You will be on an email list to receive the Zoom invite before every Teen Hangout. Please email us if you do not receive a Zoom invite.
For Parents/Guardians — If your child is under the age of 18 and would like to participate in the Teen Hangouts, click on the button below to sign the Teen Hangouts Consent Form.
