Karen was a vibrant person who didn’t let FA get the best of her. She was president of her nursing home resident council, and stayed active in her community. She passed away with family and friends by her side after a bout with pneumonia. Karen graduated from Fort Payne High School in Alabama in 1982. She graduated from Edmonson Jr. College in Chattanooga Tennessee with a paralegal degree shortly after that. She was a huge University of Alabama football fan and anyone who knew her was well aware of that fact! Karen is survived by her Son Alex James, Brother David Linebarger , Step Sister Christina Linebarger, Sister Kim Swiatek who also has FA, and her Mother Mary Sellars.
