Maanasa Jayachandran joined FARA as a Research Portfolio Manager with a background in neuroscience research, program coordination, and multi-site scientific initiatives at the NIH. She completed her PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience and later conducted postdoctoral research at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), focusing on how brain circuits support memory. Her interest in neuromuscular and neurodegenerative disorders is shaped by both her scientific training and personal experience. At FARA, Maanasa helps manage the research portfolio, support investigators, and strengthen collaborations that move the FA research pipeline forward.
